5 Mantras Every Woman Need

The most beautiful thing a woman can wear is confidence

Confidence is something you learn overnight – a person needs to be nurtured and learn to accept things he/she have or don’t have. Spending more time using media has somehow shaped our minds to be like someone else to belong and not to be who you are. Sometimes question myself “what the true definition of beauty is?” “is being beautiful measured by someone’s weight?”.

Well, to be honest, I don’t know how to answer those questions. I have, though, these five mantras that I always say every time I doubt myself. This is certainly not a beauty-related post, but I think this is what most of us need every now and then.

I love myself. I respect myself. I am beneath no one

Life is full of competition, but do not let it bring you to your lowest. Winning in life starts with self-love and self-respect. Don’t give into the pressure life has given you because you can always make it through. Do not let anyone make you think otherwise. Compete with yourself to be a better person.

My only limit is my imagination

Do not settle with one goal in life because it doesn’t have a limitation. You want to be a doctor? Then, be a doctor. You want to be a dancer, an actor, a teacher, a painter, then be it! Life is too short to limit yourself to only one purpose. Find your passion, then look for another one while you are at it, because at the end of the day, trying everything and going everywhere will get you to end up in the place you are supposed to be.

Every body is a bikini body

Ladies of all sizes, let me tell you that you can officially rock whatever swimwear you like! Stop thinking about what everyone will think and start thinking about what you think. If you found the cutest swimwear at the store, buy it, wear it and voila~ instant bikini body. The beach will not care whether you have a cellulite, stretch marks, or uneven tan! Don’t even let your period stop you because Knixteen is here to save the day. Bare your womanhood with pride.

Do things to please you, not to please them

If you are working out so you can have a slimmer version of yourself to prove to others that you can, then you are doing it for the wrong reason. Do something you want to do for yourself and not to make others happy.

I am beautiful

Yes, you are.
